A spa at home in Dubai means the treatment comes to you — I bring the massage table, fresh linens and oils, set the mood in a room of your choosing, and you skip the drive, the parking and the crowds. I’m Mei, an independent female therapist. A home visit is AED 400 an hour, my studio is AED 300, and there’s no deposit.
What “spa at home” really means
It helps to be honest about what a home spa is and isn’t. It’s the hands-on part — a proper massage, unhurried, in a calm setting — brought to your door. What it isn’t is a wet spa with pools, a steam room or a sauna. I’m one therapist with a table and good oils, not a building full of facilities, and I think that’s the point rather than a drawback.
What you get instead is undivided attention. In a busy spa you share the space, keep an eye on the clock and often feel processed through a schedule. At home there’s no queue, no locker, no small talk in a waiting area — just your session, at your pace, in a room where you already feel comfortable. For a lot of people that’s more restful than any spa floor, because the relaxing starts the moment you stop rushing anywhere.
It suits all sorts of evenings. Some clients book it as a monthly reset, some after a brutal work week, some the night before a big day, and some simply because getting to a spa across town feels like more effort than it’s worth. Whatever the reason, the appeal is the same: the good part of a spa, without the logistics wrapped around it.
None of this means a home spa feels like a compromise. The table is a proper one, not a folded towel on the floor; the oils are the same I’d use anywhere; and an hour is a full hour of hands-on work. What you give up is the marble lobby and the hum of other people — which, for most of the clients who book me, was never why they wanted a massage in the first place.
What I bring — and what you don’t have to
You don’t need to own anything or prepare much. I arrive with a sturdy professional massage table, fresh linens and clean towels for every visit, a selection of massage oils, and quiet music if you’d like some. If you enjoy aromatherapy, I’ll blend the oil around how you want to feel afterwards — calm, lighter, or ready for bed.
From your side, all it takes is a quiet room with enough floor space to walk around the table, and somewhere I can wash my hands. A shower afterwards is lovely if you have one, but it’s not essential. That’s genuinely the whole list. Part of the appeal of a home spa is that the effort is mine, not yours — you open the door and the rest is set up for you within a few minutes.
You don’t need to dress up or tidy the whole flat either. Wear something loose and comfortable to let me in, clear enough space for the table in one room, and leave the rest to me. If anything about your health means a massage needs care — a recent injury, pregnancy, a medical condition — just say so when you book, and I’ll adjust or, if it’s wiser, suggest you check with a doctor first.
Home spa vs going to a spa in Dubai
The clearest difference is what happens around the treatment. Going to a spa means booking a slot, driving across town, parking, arriving early, then reversing all of that afterwards while your muscles are warm and you’d rather be resting. A home visit removes every one of those steps. The massage is the same length and quality; the day around it is far calmer.
Privacy is the other big one. Some people simply relax more deeply at home — no shared changing rooms, no strangers, no wondering who’s next door. As a female therapist working strictly professionally and by appointment, I find that matters especially to clients booking their first massage, and to women who prefer a woman’s hands. Proper draping stays in place throughout, so you’re covered and comfortable the whole time — the setting is relaxed, but the treatment is strictly professional from start to finish. There’s also the time you get back: an hour’s treatment stays an hour, rather than turning into half an evening once you count the travelling.
There’s a comfort angle too. After a spa treatment you often feel too relaxed to want to drive, yet you still have to. At home you can go straight to bed, curl up on the sofa, or carry on your evening in a dressing gown — whatever helps the session last. For an evening massage especially, not having to head back out into Dubai traffic is half the value.
You can see how the rates and lengths work on my pricing page; it’s AED 400 an hour at home, AED 300 at my studio, and there’s never a deposit. If you’d like to book, message me on WhatsApp with your area and a rough time, and I’ll come to you.
Setting the scene in your own space
You don’t have to do anything to make a home spa work, but a few small touches turn a good massage into a proper switch-off. Warm the room a little — muscles relax faster when you’re not cold. Draw the curtains and dim the lights, or leave a lamp on rather than the main ceiling light. Put your phone face down on silent so nothing pulls you back out of it. Have a glass of water ready for afterwards.
Little else matters, but these help too: a clear path to the room so I can carry the table in easily, and a warm towel to hand if you like one at the end. If you share your home, letting the household know you’ll be having a treatment keeps the hour quiet and uninterrupted.
If you’re booking as a gift for someone, say so when you message and I’ll keep it low-key — I can confirm the timing with them directly so the surprise holds. And if your home is busy, choosing a room with a door you can close keeps the hour properly yours, with no one wandering through.
If you’re in a hotel or serviced apartment, the same ideas apply and the setup is just as simple; hotel massage is one of my regular bookings, and I visit rooms and suites right across the city. On the Palm, in the Marina, Downtown or anywhere on my list, the routine is identical — I bring the spa, you provide the quiet corner.
Prices and how to book
A spa treatment at home is AED 400 an hour, or AED 300 an hour at my studio, for 60, 90 or 120 minutes. There’s no deposit and no membership to join — you pay cash on the day, or bank transfer on request. I work daily from 10am to 11pm, by appointment, and same-day is often possible if you message early enough. You can also browse all six of my treatments first if you’re not sure which suits the mood you’re after.
To book, send me a WhatsApp with your area, whether you’d like a home visit or my studio, and the length you have in mind. I’ll confirm the time and tell you the little I need you to have ready — usually just a quiet room, a towel and somewhere to dim the lights.
Frequently asked questions
Can you bring a spa to my home in Dubai?
Yes — I bring the massage table, fresh linens, clean towels and oils, and set up in a quiet room of your choosing. It's the massage and the calm of a spa, brought to your door. A home visit is AED 400 an hour with no deposit. Message me on WhatsApp with your area to book.
What do I need for a home spa massage?
Very little. A quiet room with enough floor space for the table, and a towel or two if you'd like a shower afterwards. I bring everything else. If you want the full spa feeling, dim the lights and put your phone on silent — I'll handle the rest when I arrive.
Is a home spa massage cheaper than a spa in Dubai?
I can only speak for my own rates: AED 400 an hour for a home visit and AED 300 at my studio, with no deposit. On top of the treatment you save the drive, the parking and the time getting there and back. I'd rather quote you honestly than compare against other places.
Do you do spa treatments in hotels in Dubai?
Yes. I visit hotels and serviced apartments across the city just as I visit homes — same table, same linens, same strictly professional treatment. Hotel massage is one of my most common bookings. Share your hotel and room on WhatsApp once you're checked in and I'll come to you.
What's the difference between a home spa and a real spa?
A home spa is the hands-on treatment and the calm, without the pools, sauna or shared rooms. You get one therapist's full attention in your own space, and no queue or crowd. If a proper massage in a relaxed setting is what you're after, a home visit gives you exactly that.
