By Mei Han, massage therapist in Dubai Updated 11 August 2026
The easiest way to use my massage service in Dubai is to book directly with me on WhatsApp, choose a home visit or studio appointment, and tell me what your body needs. I am Mei, a female therapist, and I see women and men for strictly professional sessions with clear communication, proper draping and no deposit.
How my massage service works, start to finish
My massage service is straightforward: before I arrive, we agree the time, location, duration and focus. At the appointment, I ask practical health questions, explain the plan, check pressure during the massage and leave time for you to dress comfortably afterwards.
I offer six services:
- Deep tissue massage for focused work on tension and restricted movement.
- Swedish & relaxation massage for flowing pressure and general relaxation.
- Sports & recovery massage for active people needing support with training, tired muscles or recovery.
- Prenatal & postnatal massage, with suitable positioning and gentle adjustments during pregnancy or after birth.
- Lymphatic drainage massage, using light, rhythmic movements to support fluid movement. It does not detox the body or cause weight loss.
- Aromatherapy massage, combining massage with carefully selected oils where suitable.
You can book a 60, 90 or 120-minute session. The hourly rate is the same for all three, so the difference is how gradually we can work and how many areas we can include. My massage pricing in Dubai page explains the options: home visit AED 400 per hour and studio AED 300 per hour.
For a home appointment, I come to your flat, villa, hotel room or another suitable private space within my Dubai service areas. This avoids traffic, changing rooms and travelling after the session. A studio appointment provides a dedicated treatment setting instead.
The massage is adapted to your comfort rather than delivered as a fixed routine. You may want focused work on your back and shoulders or a full-body relaxation session. I will ask what you want, while being honest if your request does not suit your symptoms or needs medical attention first.
Booking: what to send me and how far ahead
To book, send me a WhatsApp message with your preferred date, approximate time, location, session length and massage type. Same-day appointments are often possible when my diary allows, but advance booking gives you a better choice, especially in the evenings and at weekends.
A useful first message can include:
- Your area or building name.
- Home visit or studio.
- 60, 90 or 120 minutes.
- Your preferred service.
- Specific areas of tension.
- Your preferred time, plus an alternative if possible.
You do not need to send a long medical history initially. Before confirming, I will ask important questions, including whether you are pregnant or recently gave birth, whether you have an injury and whether any health concerns could affect massage.
Please tell me if you have persistent or severe pain, numbness, weakness, unexplained swelling, recent surgery, an acute injury or pain travelling into an arm or leg. Persistent or severe symptoms, especially with numbness or radiating pain, should be assessed by your doctor or a physiotherapist. Massage may ease some muscular discomfort, but it is supportive care, not a replacement for medical advice.
Once we agree the details, I confirm the appointment and send practical arrival information. I do not require a deposit. If plans change, tell me as early as possible so the time can be managed fairly. The location must be private, safe and suitable for a professional appointment.
If you are ready to check availability, message me on WhatsApp with the details above. I will reply with the available time, price and any preparation points relevant to your situation.
What I bring and what you need
For a home visit, I bring my massage blanket, clean sheets and massage oil. You only need a bed I can make up and reach from at least one side.
Before I arrive, move small objects, loose cables and fragile items away. A clear bedroom, living room or private guest room is usually enough. You do not need a cleared floor, a special room, strong lighting or an extra chair.
You also do not need to prepare towels, music, candles or products. If you have allergies, sensitive skin or a fragrance preference, tell me beforehand. Aromatherapy is one of my six services, but oils are always chosen for your comfort and suitability.
Wear something easy to change out of and have water available if you like. Avoid arriving immediately after a very heavy meal, and allow a few quiet minutes before the appointment if your day has been busy. My guide on how to prepare for a home massage covers these details simply.
For a studio session, I provide the treatment setup. You only need to arrive on time, share relevant information and explain what you hope to get from the massage. If you are staying in a hotel or apartment building, check that visitors can enter and send clear instructions.
Your privacy matters: I keep appointment details limited to what is necessary, do not discuss clients with others and expect the treatment space to remain private. I am a female therapist, and every session is strictly professional, whether the appointment is for a woman or a man.
During the session: consultation, draping, pressure checks
The session begins with a short consultation. I ask about your main concern, areas to avoid, pressure preference, recent physical activity and any conditions or symptoms that may affect the approach.
I explain positioning and what clothing or covering is appropriate. You undress only to your comfort level, while areas not being worked on stay covered with proper draping. I uncover only the area being treated, and you can request an adjustment or stop at any time.
During the massage, I check pressure rather than assuming stronger is better. You can say “lighter”, “firmer”, “slower”, “please avoid that area” or “I would like to stop”. Clear feedback helps me work accurately; you never need to tolerate discomfort to be polite.
Deep tissue massage may use focused pressure, but it should not test your endurance. Sports & recovery work is adjusted for training, fatigue and the area involved. Swedish & relaxation and aromatherapy may feel more flowing, while prenatal & postnatal massage requires careful positioning and communication.
Lymphatic drainage uses light, rhythmic movements rather than deep pressure. It may support fluid movement, but does not detox you, burn fat or replace assessment for unexplained swelling. If swelling is new, painful, one-sided or linked to other concerning symptoms, seek medical advice before booking.
Afterwards, take a moment before standing, particularly after a longer session. You may feel relaxed or temporarily aware of areas worked on. If symptoms are unusual or worsen, contact a medical professional rather than managing them through repeated massage.
Payment, tipping and privacy
Payment is simple: home visits are AED 400 per hour, studio sessions AED 300 per hour, with the same hourly rate for 60, 90 and 120 minutes. I mainly take cash, with bank transfer available on request, and no deposit is required.
For clarity, the session totals are:
| Appointment | Home visit | Studio |
|---|---|---|
| 60 minutes | AED 400 | AED 300 |
| 90 minutes | AED 600 | AED 450 |
| 120 minutes | AED 800 | AED 600 |
Please have the agreed amount ready at the end if paying cash. If you prefer bank transfer, mention it when booking so we can arrange the details beforehand. I do not add surprise charges for ordinary setup or travel within my service areas.
Tipping is optional, not expected, and does not affect the quality, duration or professionalism of your session. If you choose to tip and want guidance on local etiquette, my article about how much to tip for a home massage in Dubai explains the choice without treating it as an obligation.
Privacy also applies to communication. I only need the information required to arrange the appointment and reach the location. You can ask about the service, boundaries, pricing or preparation before confirming, and I prefer everything to be clear in advance.
A home massage should feel convenient, calm and professionally managed. To arrange a time, message me on WhatsApp with your location, preferred duration and service. I will confirm availability and the exact price before the appointment.

Can I book a same-day massage service near me in Dubai?
Often, yes, depending on my availability and your location. Send your area, preferred time, session length and massage type by WhatsApp. I will tell you whether I can reach you that day. Advance booking is still better for evening and weekend appointments.
What does a female therapist bring to a home massage?
For a home visit, I bring my massage blanket, clean sheets and massage oil. You only need a private room with a bed I can make up and move around. You do not need to provide specialist equipment, towels or products.
Is the massage strictly professional?
Yes. Every appointment is strictly professional, with proper draping, clear boundaries and respectful communication. I see both women and men by appointment. You can discuss pressure, positioning and areas to avoid, and you may pause or end the session at any time.
Which areas of Dubai do you cover?
I cover the locations listed on my Dubai service areas page. When you enquire, send your neighbourhood or building name and whether you want a home visit or studio session. I will confirm whether your location is currently within my service area.
