Full-body massage at home in Dubai: what apps, spas and I really charge (and what each price includes)

I’m Mei, an independent female massage therapist visiting homes and hotels across Dubai. Below: my complete price list, a sourced map of what apps, home spas and hotel spas charge, and the questions that make sure the price you’re quoted is the price you pay.

How much is a home massage in Dubai? My full price list

One flat hourly rate, whatever you book: 60, 90 or 120 minutes, full body or focused, deep tissue or relaxation. My studio costs AED 100 an hour less because nobody travels. There is no deposit, no travel fee, no package and no “from” price, so the table below is the whole list.

What that already includes:

• Every treatment at the same price. Deep tissue costs the same as a relaxation massage, so you choose on what your body needs, not on the menu.
• Two people, each at the normal rate. Back-to-back with me, or at the same time with a former colleague (also a female therapist), on one large bed or two, whichever your home allows. No couples premium.
• Payment after the session. Cash, or bank transfer if you ask. The total I confirm on WhatsApp doesn’t change on the day.

The studio is a private room by appointment, not a spa with a lobby: a large bed made for clients, dressed with the same blanket and fresh linens I bring to homes. I share the address once your booking is confirmed.

How much does a full body massage at home cost in Dubai?

Exactly the same as any other session: full body is not an upgrade with me. Some apps price deep tissue above Swedish; I price only by time. Sixty minutes covers the whole body at a steady pace, and 90 minutes covers everything with real time left for the spot that hurts.

In a 60-minute full body I start with the back and shoulders, where Dubai desk days collect, then work the legs and feet, then the arms, and finish at the neck. If you’d rather spend half the hour on your shoulders, say so; the price doesn’t move.

What the price covers, beyond my hands:

• Your own bed becomes the treatment surface. A dedicated massage blanket over your mattress, a fresh sheet, a headrest for lying face down and a bolster under knees or ankles. You need a quiet room and your bed; nothing has to be moved.
• Linens, towels and oils. Fresh for every client, with an unscented oil always available if you’re sensitive to scent.
• The whole booked time hands-on. Making up the bed takes about five minutes, and that is my time, not yours. A 60-minute booking is 60 minutes of massage.
• Full body never means uncovered. Every session is strictly professional with proper draping: only the area being worked is uncovered, for women and men alike.

Massage prices in Dubai: apps vs home spas vs hotel spas

If you want one number: a typical one-hour massage in Dubai costs AED 250–300 through a home service, from AED 149 on an app’s entry tier, and AED 550 or more at a five-star hotel spa. These are third-party prices I saw published in October 2026. They change, so treat them as a map rather than a quote.

The pattern is plain. Apps compete on the headline number, hotel spas charge for the building as much as the massage, and marketplaces sit in the middle. I’m above the apps and well below any hotel spa, for one-to-one work in your own bed. Why do some apps charge AED 149 and others AED 400?

Because the two prices buy different things. An entry-tier app price buys a slot with whoever is free that evening, on a platform built to compete on the headline number. My rate buys one named therapist, travel both ways, fresh linens and oils, and the full booked time hands-on, with no platform commission in between.

What sits inside the higher price:

• One person, every time. You book me, you get me, and I remember your pressure, the shoulder that gives you trouble and what helped last time.
• An honest arrival time. I leave a gap between appointments rather than booking them nose to tail, so a slow Sheikh Zayed Road doesn’t eat into your hour or the next client’s.
• No layer in between. You pay the person doing the work, and nothing else is on the bill.

What a lower price usually trades away is consistency: a different pair of hands each visit, set-up inside your hour, a “from” price rather than a fixed one. Cheap massage in Dubai: what to check before you book

A cheap massage isn’t automatically a bad one, but a very low price saves money somewhere. Usually that’s a shorter hands-on hour, a different therapist each time, a travel fee added later or a deposit taken up front. Before booking anything advertised under AED 200 an hour, get four answers in writing.

1. “Is this the total at my address?” Travel by zone and visitor parking can turn a low headline price into something quite different.
2. “Is the booked time all hands-on, after set-up?” A clear yes is reassuring. Hesitation tells you something too.
3. “Who exactly will arrive?” A name, not “one of our therapists”.
4. “Is there a deposit, and what’s the refund rule?” If money goes up front, know how you get it back.

As for the “AED 50 an hour” adverts: an hour at your home has costs nobody can avoid, from travel and laundered linens to the therapist’s own time. When the numbers can’t add up, be cautious, especially if the wording is vague or a deposit goes to a personal account. 60, 90 or 120 minutes: which is worth it?

My hourly rate is identical at every length, so pick by what you need done, not by value per minute. Sixty minutes suits one or two areas, 90 is the length I’d suggest for a first full-body session, and 120 is for full body plus two problem areas.

• 60 minutes: neck and shoulders after a week at a laptop, a lower back, tight calves after padel. Sixty focused minutes beat ninety spread thin.
• 90 minutes: everything covered properly, with time to linger where it matters.
• 120 minutes: back and shoulders worked thoroughly, then legs and feet, with neither rushed.
• Pregnancy: usually 60, because side-lying and position changes make an hour feel full. Check with your doctor or midwife before booking any massage in pregnancy.

Are there hidden costs? Travel fees, deposits and tips

Not with me: no travel fee, no deposit, no parking charged back, no service charge and nothing sold to you once you’re lying down. The same rate applies in International City, out by Dragon Mart, as in a JLT tower, because I don’t price by zone. With anyone else, check these before comparing two prices.

1. Call-out fees by zone, which can push a low hourly rate above a higher all-in price.
2. Visitor parking charged back after the session.
3. “From” prices, where the length or treatment you want costs more than the advert.
4. Deposits and cancellation charges; get the refund rule in writing first.
5. Service charge and VAT at hotel spas; ask whether the menu price is final.
6. Upsells on the bed: hot stones, a “signature” upgrade, a longer session suggested halfway through. I don’t offer hot stone, and nothing is sold to you mid-massage.

How to get an exact total on WhatsApp

Send four things: your area or hotel, the length you want, a preferred day and time, and what you’d like from the session in your own words. I reply with a time and a fixed total that doesn’t change on the day. I work daily from 10:00 to 23:00 by appointment, and same-day is often possible.

Plain words beat treatment names: “my shoulders are solid from the laptop” tells me more than “deep tissue, please”. If you only want the numbers on one screen, my pricing page is the short official price card.
