Massage in Mirdif
I come to you in Mirdif — mirdif family villas & townhouses — with my massage blanket, fresh linens and oils — I work on your own bed. Or visit my private studio by appointment.
Yes — I do home massage across Mirdif, in the villa streets around Uptown Mirdif and Tripoli Street and in the gated communities of Ghoroob, Shorooq and Mirdif Hills. Send me your street and villa number, or your community and building, on WhatsApp and I’ll confirm a time between 10:00 and 23:00. For most Mirdif households the best slot is the evening, once the children are in bed.
Mirdif: what kind of place it is
Mirdif is a low-rise family suburb directly under the DXB flight path, and both facts shape a home visit here. Mirdif sits on the eastern edge of the city, just east of the airport, with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and City Centre Mirdif on its western edge and Mushrif Park beyond it. Everything stays low under the approach path: standalone and compound villas on numbered streets, the Uptown Mirdif, Ghoroob and Shorooq communities, and the newer Mirdif Hills apartments near the park.
There’s no metro in Mirdif — the nearest Red Line stop is Centrepoint at Rashidiya — so the suburb runs on cars and school runs. If you’re on the other side of the airport in Al Qusais or Al Nahda, start with my Al Qusais page.
Finding your villa
In Mirdif the street number and your Makani number get me to the right gate; a villa name or a pin on its own often doesn’t. Villas on one street look alike from the road, and compound villas can have several numbers behind one gate. When you book, send:
- your street number and villa number as shown on the gate;
- your Makani number from the plate by your entrance, if it’s to hand;
- for Uptown Mirdif, Ghoroob, Shorooq or Mirdif Hills, the community and your building or villa number, with my name left at the gate;
- a pin dropped on your gate, not the middle of the street.
I park on the street, your drive or the community’s visitor parking, and message when I’m close.
Making space in a family villa
A bedroom with a door is all I need; there’s no table, and nothing to move. I lay a dedicated massage blanket over your own bed, add a fresh sheet, towels, a headrest and a bolster, and pack everything away afterwards. The what to expect page shows the set-up.
In a busy villa, three things protect the hour:
- Use a bedroom, not the majlis or living room. A door that closes matters more than room size.
- Hand children and pets to another adult, or book after bedtime. My guide on how to prepare for a home massage covers both in more detail.
- Close the windows if you’re right under the approach. Aircraft noise is part of Mirdif life; once you’re lying down with the door shut, it fades into the background.
What families in Mirdif tend to book — and what I’d suggest
Parenting lands in the body in two ways: a nervous system that can’t switch off, and a neck, shoulder and lower back worn down by lifting, carrying and car seats. Pregnancy and the months after a birth need a different approach again.
- Pregnant, or recently had a baby — prenatal & postnatal massage, lying on your side, supported with pillows and a bolster, on your own bed. Check with your doctor or midwife first, especially in the first trimester or after a caesarean; the NHS pregnancy pages are worth reading.
- Exhausted and mainly want to sleep tonight — Swedish & relaxation massage, 60 minutes in the evening, then straight to bed.
- One shoulder or your lower back has nagged for weeks — deep tissue on that area, 90 minutes, on a day you can rest afterwards.
- Shift work at the airport next door — a calm session just before your main sleep, not squeezed between shifts.
If pain is severe, runs down an arm or leg, comes with numbness, or follows an injury, see a doctor or physiotherapist first. Message me on WhatsApp with how you’re feeling and which evening works, and I’ll suggest the session and length.
Is there a massage centre in Mirdif?
There are spas and salons in and around Mirdif — near City Centre Mirdif, in Uptown and along the local shopping streets — and hotel spas towards the airport. For a parent, though, the real difference isn’t the massage; it’s the logistics around it.
| Spa or centre | Home visit with me | |
|---|---|---|
| Getting there | Drive, park, and arrange childcare for the gap | None: book after bedtime and you’re already home |
| Therapist | Whoever is free | Me, every time, so I know your back |
| Where you lie | Their treatment room | Your own bed, made up with my massage blanket and fresh linens |
| Hours | Their opening times | 10:00–23:00 daily, by appointment |
| Boundaries | Set by the centre | Strictly professional, proper draping throughout; women and men welcome |
If you can get out and want a steam room and a quiet afternoon, a spa is a lovely thing to do. If getting out is the problem, I’m the answer to that. A home visit is AED 400 per hour (AED 400, AED 600 or AED 800 for 60, 90 or 120 minutes) with no deposit and no travel fee to Mirdif; the total I confirm on WhatsApp is the total you pay. The studio is AED 300 per hour if you’d rather travel. The price list has the detail.

Questions about massage in Mirdif
Do you do home massage in Mirdif?
Yes. I visit villas and townhouses across Mirdif — the villa streets around Uptown Mirdif and Tripoli Street, and the gated communities of Ghoroob, Shorooq and Mirdif Hills. Send your street and villa number, or your community and building, on WhatsApp and I'll confirm a time between 10:00 and 23:00. I bring everything, make up your own bed, and treat both women and men.
How much is a home massage in Mirdif?
A home visit in Mirdif is AED 400 per hour: AED 400 for 60 minutes, AED 600 for 90 and AED 800 for 120. There is no travel fee to Mirdif and no deposit. You pay in cash after the session, or by bank transfer if you ask beforehand. If you'd rather come to me, the studio is AED 300 per hour.
I live in Uptown Mirdif, Ghoroob or Shorooq. How do you get through the gate?
Tell me your community and your villa or building number when you book, and let the gate or reception know you're expecting a visitor in my name. I give my name on arrival, park where visitors are allowed and message when I'm close. Inside the larger communities a pin dropped on your actual door helps. You don't need to come out to meet me.
Can you come in the evening once the children are asleep?
Yes. I work until 23:00 every day, and for a family villa an after-bedtime slot is usually the calmest. Book a start time about half an hour after the children settle, choose a bedroom with a door you can close, and keep another adult in the house for the hour. If evenings are impossible, late morning while they're at school works just as well.
Not in Mirdif?
I cover much of Dubai. Message me your location and I'll confirm availability.
