Hotel spas sit at the top end; independent therapists and small studios cost less. My own rates are deliberately simple — AED 400 an hour for a home visit, AED 300 at my studio, with no deposit.
What you’re actually paying for
Massage pricing in Dubai isn’t random — it tracks a handful of things. The setting is the biggest one. A five-star hotel spa carries the cost of the building, the changing rooms, the sauna, the pool and a large team, and all of that lands on your bill before anyone touches your back. An independent therapist like me has far less overhead, so more of what you pay goes straight into the actual hour of work on the table.
Length is the next factor, and it’s the most predictable. After that comes the style of session and, finally, travel. A home visit includes me bringing the table, linens, oils and music to your door and setting it all up, which a walk-in studio rate doesn’t need to cover. Once you can see those pieces, almost any quote in Dubai starts to make sense.
The usual price bands in Dubai
Here’s the lay of the land, roughly, so you can place any quote you’re given. Hotel and resort spas usually start around AED 450 to 600 for a single hour and climb well past AED 700 for signature or two-hour treatments — and that’s often before a service charge is added. Dedicated day spas and wellness clinics tend to sit in the AED 300 to 500 range. Independent and home-visit therapists vary the most, anywhere from about AED 250 to AED 500 an hour, because experience, professionalism and what’s included differ so much from one listing to the next.
Cheaper isn’t automatically better. The very lowest, too-good-to-be-true prices are best treated with caution; a fair, transparent rate is part of a professional, legitimate service, and it usually signals someone who values their own time and yours.

I keep mine easy to remember. A home visit is AED 400 an hour — I come to your home, hotel or serviced apartment anywhere across Dubai and bring everything with me, including the table, fresh linens, oils and quiet music. My studio rate is AED 300 an hour if you’d rather come to me.
Both cover 60, 90 or 120-minute sessions at the same hourly rate, so there’s no premium for booking longer. A 90-minute home visit works out at AED 600, and a full two hours is AED 800; at the studio those same sessions are AED 450 and AED 600. There’s no deposit, payment is cash on the day (bank transfer on request if you prefer), and the figure I quote is the figure you pay — no service charge, and nothing added at the end. How the length changes what you pay
Because I charge one flat hourly rate, working out the cost is refreshingly simple. Sixty minutes is enough for a focused session on one area or a lighter full-body treatment. Ninety minutes gives you full body plus proper, unhurried time on a problem spot — the length most of my regulars settle on. Two hours suits deep, unhurried work or covering two goals in a single visit, say back and shoulders followed by legs and feet.

Does the type of massage change the price?
In many Dubai spas, yes — a “signature” or specialist treatment can cost noticeably more than a standard hour. I take a different view. Whether you book deep tissue for a stiff neck, a gentle Swedish and relaxation session to help you sleep, sports recovery after training, prenatal or postnatal work, lymphatic drainage or aromatherapy, the rate is the same: AED 400 at home or AED 300 at the studio. What changes between them is how I use the hour, not what you pay for it. That way you can choose the massage that actually suits your body, rather than the one that fits your budget.
How I compare with the alternatives
Set against a hotel spa, a home visit with me usually works out similar to or less than the spa’s hourly rate — and you skip the drive, the parking, the changing room and the rush to get home while you’re still relaxed. The massage comes to you, and you can go straight to bed afterwards.
Set against the cheapest listings online, I sit comfortably mid-range on price, and I’m clear about exactly what you get: a female therapist, strictly professional and by appointment, with proper draping every time and firm boundaries. For a lot of people that clarity is worth as much as the price itself.
Does your area in Dubai affect the price?
No — I keep a single, city-wide rate. Whether you’re in Dubai Marina, Downtown, Palm Jumeirah, Business Bay, JVC, Al Barsha or any of the other neighbourhoods I cover, a home visit is AED 400 an hour, with no travel surcharge added on top. I think hidden distance fees are exactly the sort of thing that makes booking stressful, so I simply don’t have them.
The only practical difference between areas is availability on a given evening, which is easy to sort over a quick message. If you’re staying in a hotel or serviced apartment anywhere in the city, the same rate applies — nothing changes because of your postcode.
What’s included, and what isn’t
Your rate covers the full session time, my travel to you, and everything I bring: the table, fresh linens and towels, oils and music. There’s no equipment hire, no “setup fee”, and no charge for the few minutes it takes me to arrange and pack away the space.
What the price doesn’t include is a deposit, because there isn’t one, or any online or card payment, because I take cash on the day (a bank transfer is fine if you’d prefer). You’ll always know the full figure before I arrive, and it won’t quietly grow at the door.
What about tipping?
Tipping isn’t expected in Dubai, and it’s never built into my price — the rate I quote is complete. Some clients like to add a little if they’ve particularly enjoyed the session, and that’s always appreciated but entirely optional. You should never feel obliged. If you’re curious about local etiquette, it’s a common question with no wrong answer; your comfort matters far more than any convention.
