Private Massage in Dubai: What It Means Here (and What It Doesn't)

Private massage in Dubai, explained plainly — strictly professional, one to one, proper draping, total discretion. Home visits AED 400/hr, no deposit.

By Mei Han, massage therapist in Dubai Updated 11 August 2026

Private Massage in Dubai: What It Means Here (and What It Doesn't)

Private massage in Dubai means a private, one-to-one appointment with a female therapist in a calm setting. For me, “private” means privacy, clear communication and professional boundaries — nothing suggestive, hidden or ambiguous. I welcome both women and men, and every session is strictly professional, by appointment and arranged around your comfort.

What ‘private massage’ means here — and what it doesn’t

Private massage here means a discreet appointment with one client, proper communication and no audience, pressure or unclear expectations. It does not mean sexual services, suggestive treatment or anything beyond the six massage options I offer: deep tissue, Swedish & relaxation, sports & recovery, prenatal & postnatal, lymphatic drainage, and aromatherapy.

People search for “private massage in Dubai” or “private massage near me” for different reasons. Some want a home visit because they do not want to travel after a long day. Others prefer a quiet studio, especially when they share their home or feel more comfortable meeting elsewhere. “Private” should make the arrangement clearer, not more confusing.

We agree the location, duration and massage style before the appointment. I explain what to expect, answer practical questions and keep the session focused on your needs. If you are unsure which option suits you, describe your preference in plain language rather than choosing the perfect name.

A massage appointment is not a diagnosis or a replacement for medical care. Massage may ease everyday muscle tension, support relaxation and help manage some physical discomfort. Persistent or severe pain, especially with numbness or radiating pain, should be assessed by your doctor or a physiotherapist first. The NHS also offers useful guidance about back pain and when to seek medical help.

The six available options are:

  • Deep tissue for slower, focused work on muscular tightness.
  • Swedish & relaxation for flowing, calming work with comfortable pressure.
  • Sports & recovery for active bodies, mobility support and post-exercise tension.
  • Prenatal & postnatal for suitable comfort-focused care around pregnancy and after birth.
  • Lymphatic drainage for gentle, measured movements; it is not detox and does not cause weight loss.
  • Aromatherapy for a relaxing massage using suitable scented oils when preferred.

I do not advertise other treatments as bookable services. If something is not listed above, it is not part of my appointment menu.

Privacy in practice: what I do and don’t do

Your privacy is protected through ordinary, specific habits: I do not keep unnecessary personal details, send mass messages, take photographs or arrive at your home to sell anything. I use the information needed to arrange your appointment, then keep the interaction quiet, direct and respectful.

When you contact me, share only what is needed: your preferred location, timing, massage choice and any relevant comfort or health consideration. I do not need a long personal history. If you prefer not to discuss sensitive details by message, we can keep the conversation practical and address your comfort privately at the beginning.

I do not photograph clients, treatment spaces or personal belongings. I do not post appointments, names, addresses or private conversations. I do not add people to group chats or send promotional broadcasts. I do not make unplanned home visits or knock on doors without an agreed appointment.

For home appointments, you choose the room and prepare it in the way that feels comfortable: a quiet bedroom, spare room or another suitable private space. You may have another adult at home if that helps you feel at ease. You can choose the studio if inviting someone into your home does not feel right.

Privacy includes hygiene. Clean linen, a tidy setup and sensible preparation matter when treatment takes place in your personal space. I explain more in this guide to home massage hygiene in Dubai, while my page about whether home massage is legal in Dubai covers a question many clients ask before arranging a visit.

You can ask who will arrive, what will happen first, what clothing remains on, how payment works and whether a technique is suitable. You do not have to apologise for asking. A clear question before booking is better than uncertainty during the appointment.

Draping and boundaries, explained plainly

Every appointment is strictly professional, with proper draping throughout and clear boundaries from the start. You remain covered except for the specific area being worked on, and you can ask me to adjust the draping, pressure, position or technique at any point.

Before we begin, I explain the basic flow and check which areas you want addressed. You decide what feels comfortable within the chosen style. I do not assume you want work on every part of the body, and I will not continue with an area if you are uncomfortable.

Proper draping means the rest of your body stays covered while I work on one agreed area at a time. You can wear whatever makes you feel secure and change your mind about pressure or positioning during the session. If you need water, a pause or a different arrangement, say so.

You can stop the massage immediately, for any reason, without explaining yourself. A simple “please stop” is enough. I will stop, cover you appropriately and give you space to decide what to do next. The same applies if a movement feels painful, awkward or unsuitable.

The appointment remains one-to-one and professional. There is no expectation to chat or remain silent. Some clients want a quiet session, while others prefer to explain how their body feels. I follow your communication style while keeping the boundaries clear.

If you are pregnant, recently gave birth, managing an injury or dealing with a health condition, tell me before booking. Prenatal & postnatal massage must be approached carefully, and some situations need advice from your doctor or physiotherapist first. Massage can support comfort, but it is not a cure or a replacement for clinical care.

Women considering a home appointment often have practical questions about privacy, arrival, clothing or having someone else present. My guide to home massage for women in Dubai addresses those concerns directly. You can also ask me privately before deciding.

Private Massage in Dubai: What It Means Here (and What It Doesn't) — Private Massage in Dubai: What It Means

Your home or my studio — and how to choose

You can choose a home visit for convenience and privacy, or a studio appointment for a separate, neutral setting. Home visits are AED 400 per hour; studio sessions are AED 300 per hour, with the same hourly rate for 60, 90 and 120 minutes.

A home visit can suit you if you want to rest afterwards, avoid travelling or keep the appointment in a familiar environment. Choose a clean, comfortable room with enough space for the massage setup. You do not need a perfect spa; a practical, calm area is enough.

A studio appointment can suit you if you prefer not to share your home address, live with other people or want the mental separation of leaving home. Some clients relax more easily when household tasks, visitors and interruptions are outside the room.

The price depends on location, not a different level of care. Home visit: AED 400 per hour. Studio: AED 300 per hour. A 60-minute, 90-minute or 120-minute appointment uses the same hourly rate. There is no deposit. Payment is mainly in cash, with bank transfer available on request.

We confirm whether you want home or studio, the appointment length and one of the six massage styles. If you need to reschedule, message me as soon as possible so we can discuss another time.

You can read the full breakdown on my massage pricing page. For more context about how I work as a female therapist, visit about Mei.

If you are searching for a private massage near me and are unsure whether home or studio is better, tell me your concerns. I can explain the practical difference without pushing you towards one option. You are also welcome to message me on WhatsApp before booking.

Ask anything before you book

You can ask any practical question before booking: who will arrive, how privacy is handled, what remains covered, which massage style may suit you, whether the studio is preferable and how payment works. I am happy to answer directly, especially if this is your first private appointment.

You do not need technical language. You can say, “My shoulders feel tight,” “I want something relaxing,” “I am recovering from exercise,” or “I am pregnant and want to know what is suitable.” I will explain what I can offer and when you should first speak with a doctor or physiotherapist.

If you are a woman and would like to ask questions before sharing your location, WhatsApp is a sensible first step. You can ask about arrival, draping, having someone else at home and choosing the studio. You remain free to decide after receiving the answers.

The same applies to men. A professional massage appointment should be clear for every client, with the same standards of privacy, communication and boundaries. Both women and men are welcome, and the service remains strictly professional from the first message to the end.

I do not ask for a deposit. We confirm the price according to location and duration, and payment is mainly in cash, with bank transfer on request. If you have a health concern, be honest about it before we begin so we can decide whether massage is appropriate.

For a calm, direct conversation about your appointment, message me on WhatsApp. Tell me whether you prefer home or studio, your preferred duration and which of the six massage options interests you. I will reply with the practical details and any questions needed to arrange it properly.

Frequently asked questions

It means a discreet, one-to-one massage appointment with clear professional boundaries. In my practice, “private” means privacy and personal attention only. A home visit costs AED 400 per hour, while a studio appointment costs AED 300 per hour. The same hourly rate applies to 60, 90 and 120 minutes. There is no deposit. Payment is mainly in cash, with bank transfer available on request.

Yes. Appointments are strictly professional, with proper draping and clear boundaries.
